At this point of the season an outfit like NOC probally knows their staffing needs and has an overflow of applicants. Also, if there is one way to be certain they won't hire you its posting to a message board. When trying to make a contact with a company it does not count if you leave a billion messages by email or voice. The only thing that matters in a job search is contact with a live person. Once you have that connection with a live person then you can start requesting information, but until then you may have to face the hard truth they may not be interested in hiring you. Maybe your many messages put you in a negative light in the hiring managers mind and they don't want to bother with listening to you plead for a job. On the other hand, maybe they are very busy running a rafting company and don't have time to call. Either way, looking for work with a raft company is like applying for college, some one will bound to bring you on if you apply to enough companies. Good luck |
