I really think that we should try to get more people out into the "woods" as it were. I bet 70% of people have never even been hiking/took a walk in the woods.

If more people got out to see the birds, frogs, other animals, and the beauty of nature, maybe they would care about it more. If they care, maybe they would vote with their conscience, not their wallets for once.


Plus, I pick up trash every time I am at the river, even if it is just one or two pieces. Making up for the transgressions of my youth and making the world a better place, isnt that what "green" is all about?
