	Ben and i went with a chain saw and cleared the trees out. It is still a drop i would want to look at after a good rain and make sure it is clear, it tends to collect trees in there.. be safe tom BTW the old pine plantation used to be owned by bowater is now owned by the state, part of the Cumberland state trail system.. it is posted and is foot traffic only past the gate... just a word up, it is patrolled by US park rangers all rules apply.... so if this is one of your swimming holes i would think about what i was packing in there.... also we went over to cooper creek and ben got a lot of pictures of the rock mining that has been going on there, i am sure he will add it to the steepcreeks.com page sometime today
