But I spend most of my time in a Burn M. Recently I paddled a Burn L for the first time and liked it a lot. The main difference I noticed between the Everest and Burn L is that the Burn L has more of an edge than the Everest does. At my weight (160lbs) that's not an issue, just a good thing to be aware of if you're paying attention to that as you make your selection.
It really depends on what you plan to do with the boat and how you want it to paddle. For me, with the occasional overnighter and frequent remote class V creek, the Everest is what I choose for high-water days on the steeps and the hardest creeks. For more familiar runs and day trips, the smaller size of the Burn is fine for me. Honestly, the best thing you can do when deciding which boat you want is to demo them both before deciding. I'd also suggest that you toss whatever gear you usually creek with in the boat with you so you can an accurate feel for how they perform.
Good lines out there,
