	I wish I had learned from someone who helped me learn to lead and to build confidence in my ability to read water on my own.  I probably paddled 3 years on someone's ass, believing the whole time that there was one right line through every rapid and if I didn't hit it I was probably toast!  I was always scared and learned very little.  It was when I started picking my own lines that I learned and gained confidence.
