	With so many factors that determine just how difficult a run is, not to mention the subjectability of it all, why do we continually keep trying to make a ratings system more than what it is?  That being a guideline, or rough outline of the difficutly of whitewater.

There's no fool proof rating system, but I think they have advantages. SciFisch New

No doubt the rating system is beneficial information.  Just some people rely on it too much, that's all i'm sayin'. RUwet New
