	I wanted a helmet for dual sport use (kayaking and snowboarding) and I got in touch with the guys at Sweet.  The only difference according to them is that the Trooper plastic is rated to lower temperatures, but they are otherwise identical.  He said that if you intend to use it for both snow and paddle sports to get the Trooper.  I did just that and am very happy with it.
