But I view this rating system as beta.
I could ask my buddy who always says rapids are classified too high (and I often do), or some random person who might have been down it once, or some guy I met on the river (too often scared shitless, or too cool to give decent advice). So why not also look at the collective opinion of a bunch of boaters? It's not like more information can hurt you.
