I ran Little Bear then got to the takeout and my guru was there running Johnnies.  The sun was setting and he said "wanna hit it?"  I said sure.. not knowing the level was pretty beefy.  We got to the put in and it was muddy and raging.  As soon as I ran the first drop I knew I was in over my head. I had no choice but to paddle on.  I got stuck in 2 holes.  I swam out of one of them.  I barrel rolled on a slide and trashed my helmet.  My friend is not the eddy hopper so we finished the run in less than 30 minutes.  It turned out great but that was the hairiest half hour of my paddling life.
