boaterm does live in elkhorn city and on the russell fork river so he is prob very aware of situation there and things we may not.  I think everyone appreciates the effort in trying for more releases but the question is at what cost (which is why gene posted the poll in the first place).  The river runs so many days at 300cfs a year it's crazy.  guaranteed of at least 800cfs in October is valuable resource of course people are going to be "worked up" if we lose a weekend.  It would be like someone asking to sacrifice a 100% release on the green for a few 60% releases on the green, or 1.6 releases on the upper yough.
