	Cali has a low water year, and most things are already done down there. Oregon and the NW are having an epic year right now.  I'm sitting under some old growth about 1.5 hours from Portland right now, and the river I'm next to is at a level that it should be at in April or so.  Everything is raging, and there is a PILE of snow up on the mountains.  I'm hoping to adjust to the fact that it's cloudy, spitting rain every now and then, and in the '50s.  Hopefully some good boating is going to happen tomorrow! Portland has a ton of good whitewater close to it. Leland
