I took one (hatchback model) for a test drive today and really liked it. The price wasn't bad either. I was how versitile they were for carrying boats (inside and out) and camping. Thanks. Kevin

I have a Honda Fit (similar to the Versa), and I LOVE it. Check it out, too.

I've comparing the two. So far, the Fit seems to have more versitile back seats.

I have been able to put SOOO much stuff in that car. Great mileage, too.

I'm not certain that was the meaning of versitile back seats.

Corolla is larger, more expensive, doesn't fall into this class.

Versa is worth considering if you can tolerate the sloppy 6-speed, or if you can afford the CVT.
