Versa is worth considering if you can tolerate the sloppy 6-speed, or if you can afford the CVT.

Avoid the 4 speed automatic. The car is quite roomy inside, and being based on a Renault, it handles bad roads well. Handling is said to be safe but not sporty. Not super economical.... the Fit or Yaris do better.
