After receiving some advice here I bought a Necky Orbit Fish. It felt pretty good and the price was right. After taking it home I had to remove all the extra foam in the boat to get the hip pads almost right. It is still a little tight but that is a personal issue I am working through.
The thigh braces are bomber and I am locked in well, a little too well. I went to a pool session last night and after a few roles I tried a wet exit. I ended up upside down with the boat halfway down my legs with my knees locked into the thigh braces. This did not help my confidence in this boat.
Necky technical support (which was lame) offered to sell me some touring thigh braces for $100. Any other suggestions on remedying this Chinese leg trap?
Thanks

Try just one of the braces. arrmike New
