Re: question Project52 vs. 62 for 180 lb kiwial New

i'm 185, and tried to force myself to like the project 52 and 62.  52 way too small and edgy, 62 way too big and wide.  i also tried the same with the allstar and superstar...same thoughts.  there really needs to be a size in between like a project 56.

i went with the astro58 about 6 months ago, and it is great.  does not feel as huge (volume and width)  as the project 62 or superstar.

note Makes sense, you'd think boat companies might understand that. . . K1er New
note bliss-stick seems to have more sizes, at least in its RAD. <NT> DangerJudy New
note I'll give credit where it's due to Pyranha as well. K1er New
note credit to pyranha also, but the Rev M/Long may be too narrow... tj_boof New
note I haven't paddled the project but agree about astro58 vs superstar arrmike New
th_up Astro plays better than the Superstar, while running the river as well as the 4fun - it's a great boat! <NT> Wavesport001 New
