I thought I'd need to go for the SuperHero because I was in the 190 Lb range with long legs and med-large feet... tried one out and, while it was very stable, it was too much boat for me to coax it into doing what I needed it to do.  (Picture a very stable side-surf that wouldn't end because the bow and stern were too rounded and voluminous for me to bury either end into the oncoming water to blast/ender out)  I had no problem rolling up and it surfed well as long as I kept it pointed more or less upstream, but too much leverage out at the ends for me to do much with it in a hole.

The Hero is a bit more compact, fits me fine (I've got the footplate pushed much farther toward the bow than in the SH) and paddles great for my size and style of boating.

Both great boats, but my experience was that the SH is for truly BIG guys/gals.  Your results may vary...
