what's the trick to moving the seat on new Nomad's?

I've loosened the two screws on each side of the hips and loosened the screw where the seat meets the center wall, but can't get it to move. Is there something I'm missing? Do I have to hold my tongue a certain way or what?

Have you tapped the screws down after loosening them?

Correct the plates do have teeth. Tapping should help loosen the grip to move the seat.
