Is rafting really considered a "green industry"?  Am I that out of touch?  Seems like the constant running of old school busses in and out of the gorge as well as the petroleum-based rubber rafts would kinda go against that, but maybe my view is skewed.  I'd definitely be open to being educated about this if I'm wrong (seriously).

Sorry for the thread-jack, just caught my attention :-)

On-topic...I've worked in the "outdoor" industry for nearly 15 years and have been told by attorneys, risk managers, insurance brokers, etc. that waivers were only worth the paper they were printed on.
