question Big Guy New

Hi,
My dad has gone from being on the cover of the whitewater handbook to not being able to find a boat for his size. I know its probably his fault because he was reached upwards of 280 pounds, but he is a lumberjack and is all around just a big guy. He has been dying to get back out there but doesn't fit in his old dagger. They just dont make white water kayaks at 13' feet anymore and not for big guys apparently. So I know some things, he wants a volume of around 70-80 some odd gallons, and he doesn't want a creek boat. He wants more of a river runner, something that isn't all about quick turning play. He used to start somewhere on the river and work his way down through the rocks and whitewater areas. He likes to stop and play in some spots but he doesn't want a boat for just that or doing tricks. I am really desperate to find him something great, he is hitting a midlife crisis and with 6 kids he needs a break to get out, however without a boat he can't tell my mom his excuse is that hes going kayaking. Is there anyone that can help me, I have tried to sort through the internet and I am just bogged down between all the creekers and boats made for 150 pound guys. Thank you so much,

Ginny

note His choices are going to be limited.  The Pyranha Everest and Dagger Green Boat are the first two that come to mind. analogkid70 New
