Hey, 3 friends and I did the lower yough for the first time. It was great. The first time down the loop we came across a paddler that happened to be an instructor there and he showed us all the right lines. The second time we came down we came down by ourselves. On cumcumber my friend got a little to far to the right and went over the pourover he then flipped and smacked his face off the submurged rock, chipping his front tooth and was bleeding from all of his front teeth. He had to hike back up to the huge eddy right below the first rapid and hike up the hill to cucumber falls parking lot while me and my other friend finished the run an got the car. We took him to the dentist and hes ok.

Anyway I use a fun, it really didn't perform the way I thought it should. It was more unstable that I really like. When trying to surf, the front dug in making it impossible to surf and I only weigh 150. Then I moved the seat back and this made no difference, except when going through rapids it just grabbed the back more and moved me around. I think I am going to get a true river runner. Why couldn't I play on my fun and is it normally this unstable, its the classic. I really liked our instructors remix.
