Just got back from a beach trip where I got to try the Thruster out.  Man that thing is fast and a blast to paddle in the surf, you can catch any wave even if you are out of position, forwards, backwards, it doesn't matter.  You can get a ton of bounce coming down off the crest of a big swell.  It carves pretty well (probably better if it had the optional fins) and releases nicely on spins too.  I've paddled it at 240lb and was too heavy for downriver but I've recently dropped to 230lbs and moved the seat to the next to last bolt hole, it seems to paddle much better, I've got to give it a try out again downriver on the Pigeon or something.  Once you get the seat moved properly, its pretty comfortable to be in, probably the most comfortable I've been in a playboat at 6'2"  size 13 dogs.  My wife paddled it too, 5'8" 155 and she liked it too.  I would definitely look at this boat if you are in the 160-235lb range and tall.  Its definitely on my short list.  Will be interesting to see how it contrasts to the Large Rev and the Big Project.
