The Ocoee is a step up from that, but it gives you a taste of what the push of the water is like, and the two big rapids on the Piegon are similar in difficulty to Ocoee rapids.
I think the biggest difference between the two rivers is the water on the Ocoee is MUCH pushier, and there are considerably more rapids, all similar in difficulty or more difficult than the falls on the nanty. Have a good guide and a good roll!
But like the Nanty, it is roadside, crowded, and relatively forgiving.
