Mark went off left and tagged the rock while I went off left and almost tagged the rock.

I almost landed on the shelf at the bottom. As I was falling the last 5 or 6 feet, my left paddle blade dragged down the shelf. I couldn't have cleared it by more than 6 inches with the boat. It was probably good I had so much left angle. If I hadn't, the stern would have probably slapped the sh*t out of me on the shelf at the bottom.
