	...have to stay tucked, wait for the hit and then roll off of it.  And yes, I am serious.  Stay tucked so that the shot comes to your back (protected by your PFD) or your shoulder and then use the momentum generated by the hit to roll up.  Done it more than a few times myself. Aside formt hat, you just have to work on making that roll faster and faster and faster.  Thats all the advice that can be given.
