I don't know when this supposedly happened, at least a month ago or so. I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether this is true and whether the person (was it a boater???) that did this was prosecuted and what the result was. It is so upsetting to hear a story like this. If it is true I hope the person was punished.
All I heard was that people broke into the back of the truck to get the two dogs out but they could not save them. I heard that the dogs were left in the back of a truck with a covered top and no open (or insufficiently open) windows. I don't know how anyone could leave their animals in the car like that with such hot temperatures while they went to raft or kayak the river. What kind of day did that person have on the river?
If this was already posted on BT and I missed it, sorry for the duplicate.
