	and they are sending me a new one.  All they want off my diesel is the serial number which i can cut out.  It is located on the stern, and im gona try to make the cleanest, smallest cut i can.  After i do this, could I end cap it and "rig" the mfg. defect and try to run the boat until the day it dies, then paddle the brand new one?  Just a thought.
