	The cumberlands have more class 5 bad ass runs than WNC.  I can do the math if you don't believe me.  I'll see your Raven Fork and raise you a Bear.  Personally, I would rather be 30 minutes further from the Raven Fork and 2 hours closer to the Bear, but to each his own.   Now if you are referring to water quality, then I would agree that the plateau is nothing to brag about, though there are a few streams that are pristine and magical.  I have found though that alot of people who dis the plateau have really not done any good runs on it.  I would suggest trying: Bear Henderson Possum Cain/North Chick LRC Johnnies Morgan Little Clear Creek Island Creek Duskin Creek Roaring Creek Middle Creek These are awesome runs and are worth being on anyone's radar.
