	Here in Monroe, Wa, there are easily 5 different runs (on different rivers) that I paddle within an hour of the house, and if you count the stuff that is harder than I paddle there are a lot more.  If you take that out to 2 hours there's a butt load.  Lived here 7 years and haven't driven more than 2 hours to paddle yet, and I paddle at least once a week.  You do have to like grey sky to make it here in the winter time though.
