The Noli has a train track that is active about every 1/2 hour.  It is an awesome place to camp and hang out, but really the trains are loud.  Definitely take ear plugs, I did not.  I think even with them I would be woken up every 1/2 hour.  The trains pulling uphill are much louder than the unloaded engine that goes back down.  They alternate....really loud uphill loaded train, then quieter single engine coasting downhill.  At least that was my experience.  The quality of the camping was excellent, but the trains are loud.  The Chatooga is a way better run for multi day because it is totally quiet in there.
