Call Barb at kayak academy in washington state. I needed a custom as well so I order3ed it from her and she even sent me a temporary to use while they made mine!

We both love them. Its two years in for mine and one year for my fiancees. Expensive but worth it. I have beat the crap out of mine boating all winter in it 2 seasons.

If your going to drop the 700 plus for a suit then the 300 some more for the Gmer is worth it.

Gtex is a proven fabric all the others work but not as well. Plus the gtex holds up better.

Maybe there is a new one out that is on par with gtex but I have had too many experiences with the non gtex stuff failling after some use to risk on trying them. It is kinda like buying a old busted up boat for $500 bucks. If your gonna use it hard you would be better off getting a new one with a warranty.

Just my opinion but you get what you pay for. If the non gtex stuff worked as good or was as durable as the gtex it would cost the same or more.

Dave
