You would think that and most guides are skilled enough to do so.  When the lewvel goes up it is actually harder to run grumpy's well.  There are a few thing that make it harder,  like more flow toward white face and the hole gets mucheir at the ledge and the tongue at the ledge dissapears.  Alot of the guides at the ocoee have never seen whitewater before in their life.  You have to remember that it is just the ocoee and some companies are so desperate for guides that they will take almost anyone.  It really sucks that people have to complain to TVA about the levels being too high.  The comercial cut off is 3000.
