	Being skilled enough to run the Gauley is a challenge. Being skilled enough to follow your friends who 'kindof remember' the rapids but don't scout, want to surf at every line-up till the water drops, and then have to race down the river to catch their shuttle - that's a different challenge entirely. And for most paddlers, finding guides that know the river AND will take the time to scout, show you safe lines, wait below the drops, and not ditch you at the top of Lost Paddle when they find a little play-wave...   that's just about impossible. World Kayak wants to make that 'First Time' on the Gauley a great experience.   No pork, no bull, just World Class paddlers volunteering their river-day cause Colin Kemp asked us to.   clay
