There are a couple of folks who post regularly...some who don't have profiles or memberships (see below posts)...that claim to be from the old school boatertalk. If they are what's left of the "old school" boatertalk - I'm glad I wasn't a part of it. These folks even when giving somewhat good advice taint it with sarcasm, etc...
Just shows their education level and part of the country they're from.
I've never seen blog links, stories about great things these paddlers have done, or even references to their real names or even boatertalk profile names...
Shows how great they really are - and how great they'll ever be. Let them keep talking themselves into mediocrity - if they ever make it that far.
I just filter through it because there are enough people on here who've given me really good advice. |
