Both these boats may suit your purposes but there is quite a difference between them.

The Hero has the most stability you can get in a kayak - loads of primary but the secondary stability really stands out.  
It's built tough for creeking but has the planing hull to surf and spin on waves big or small.  
It's a short but really stable river-runner with a planing hull for carving turns, punching holes, and surfing.

The Ammo is lighter and more of a playboat with extra volume and length for extra confidence.  I'm sure you'll get some detailed responses below from Team Pyranha athletes and fans.  

I would choose the Hero for really pushing the limits of what you can run with confidence - with some surf along the way, and the Ammo for more play on bigger rivers and popular creeks.
