The govt in their logic ...it is going to take a lot of people
how bout we keep the wheels rolling from the headwaters fight rolling?
that gauge feeds 18 virtual gauges and I really don't want to go back to the stone age of guessing and get skunked on runs , esp. with the price of gas and shortages here
I'm not going to let this go...we need to find out the price of the gauge first
2nd who needs the $$$$ in their fund and how to get it
3rd we need corporate sponsors...less boating means less sales.
4th we need AW invlovement, to me ...this is an access issue if there ever was one, and would be a great victory once won....cause I think we are going to take a beating on the headwaters
5th not take no for an answer from the USGS...I can't freaking believe it...they probably waste that much a minute...
since it's Sunday
I've written an email , and waitng for a response...sent out emails to the paddling community corporates
and updated the frontpage of the site to let people know about the gauge going away
www.waldensridgewhitewater.com
sad part is ...we have been humping it on the flowpage trigger points to get ready for the winter rains ...2.0 of the page is almost ready to go live....and now this shows it's ugly head.
fingers crossed we hear something Monday.
Mark aka one pissed off boater....
