Thanks Clay for a cool short clinic on creekin'! Picked up a few good points to remember, then I got to do something I've been wanting to do for a long time ... twice ... run Wesser with proper backup in place. :)
There was a girl snapping photos there. I assumed in an official capacity for NOC ... but today NOC knows nothing about her and says none of their folks were shooting the runs. She told me she was supposed to shoot the rodeo but ended up there shooting us. Wish I had gotten her name / contact info. Would like to see / have those pics. I've got some video and some of it's pretty good, just at the limit of zoom and still not tight enough. Does anyone know who this girl is or anything about photos shot there?
Typically I'm at the Nanty with a family trip and not the creeker and definitely not the right crew for backup ... so this was something I've been looking forward to for a while... since I was a kid looking at it in 1976 after open boating the Nanty for the first time and thinking wow... I'll never run that....
