A long long time ago you could.  But the land holder at the upstream end gated the road and lives right there- so you get a visit if you even go up to the gate.  And then the road runs into a strip mine and is severely degraded-  the limit of 4WD-  in fact it was impassable the last time I saw it about 8 years ago (killer waller).  And then in the final pitch down to the river- there was a totaly irreparable landslide that will never be fixed-  so if your vehicle can jump 40 feet of a 60 foot high cliffside- you might have a chance-  otherwise- check the river left access where you hike downstream through the RR tunnel.  I've heard squirt boaters do that.
