Sorry to hear the skirt's being a challenge for you. One of my coworkers and I have used these for a few years. I'm not a big fan of it, but Jason loves his. They can be tricky to put on, especially when dry. I've used mine (standard/large cockpit made into a drydeck) with several Dragorossi boats, as well as a Jackson 4 Fun. The tight rim clearance makes it harder to get the bungee up against the rim. I'll often put the skirt on from the front where I can see the rim, then work backwards down both sides making sure the bungee is against the rim with the extra neoprene outside (the more you do this, the more the neoprene/bungee will form up and do it on its own). I'll go back as far as possible, until it gets too tight to pull further. Then I'll start from the back, repeating the process of making sure the bungee is flush. Once I have the skirt on, I then run my hands around again, making sure I didn't miss a spot. I know it sounds like a lot of work, but it only takes a minute or so the first time. Once the skirt is wet I don't have as much trouble.
If you're still not getting anywhere with it after some practice, contact the dealer you got it from, and possibly Snap Dragon directly (super-nice guys). We've had them loosen the rand on skirts for some people, which can make skirts easier to put on.
Hope this helps,
Brian
