	My fiance has an '05 Vibe and it's a great little car.  You're not going to access any BC hellfuck with it, but it will get you to most rivers.  There is plenty of cargo area for a small car, enough to pack four paddlers and gear for a day trip.  We noticed that the mileage dropped a bit once we put racks on it (~30 mpg, down from about 35).  I would make sure to get the model with the factory racks as they are much easier to mount roof racks to.
