	The Nantahalloween Pumpkin Pursuit is an event for all skill sets, if you can negotiate the Nanty you will be fine.  That being said, it may be full contact...(catching pumpkins might sound easy but you may be battling many other boaters to get a hold of them).  You could technically try to snag them from the shore or we'll also be renting duckies for $5 for those that dont want to hardboat the event. We've got allot great prizes to give away.(Including a brand new Jackson Creekboat)  There will be some excellent deals in the store on boats and all manner of boating related accessories.  We'll be serving brats and beer all day long from the Big Wesser Grill, big screen paddling movies, and general sillyness.  Bring your costume! There will be a slew of after hours parties and of course the pub will be open for late night refreshments and college football on the big screens.  This is the end of the line for the Nantahala river in 08, so we want to send her off proud. Hope you can join us for NOCtoberfest.
