I ran it last December. Dry top and dry pants were ok. I wish I had booties glued in to my pants or a dry suit with booties would have been even better. We were in and out of the water loading unlodaing, scouting etc. It was cold but manageable.
Bring a couple pairs of heavy rubber cleaning gloves for dishes at night!! Tall rubber boots for camp are a good idea. Our group brought an outfitter tent and a small wood stove for the cold nights which was sweet. Lots of great sites are available at that time of year. Grab wood on your way down for fire. Sites usually are picked over.
I paddled the entire run in a river runner. I did not find many places to play but that was not really my goal. Great trip...I came out of it being a much better paddler by just being in my boat for 26 days straight. Enjoy!!!
