I paddle Pyranha boats, so that may lead to a bias. But, I know that the first time that I got in the Burn, I thought wow this is way easier that it was. So there's an option. I also feel that the Magnum is a great boat (it looks and as I've heard paddles a lot like the Perception Phat, an extremely good boat).
With that said, the best advice that anyone can give you on buying a new creek boat is to paddle a bunch of boats. Only you can find the right boat for you to paddle. With that said, paddle the jefe, the magnum, the burn, and whatever other creek boat you can get your hands on. Buy what you feel the most comfortable in. And by comfortable, I mean the boat in which you are most confident in your ability to hit your lines.
People ask me all the time what I think is the best boat for a certain type of kayaking, and I say two things:
(1) You can trust that Pyranha will make a good boat to paddle (especially creek boats, since that's kinda my area), but
(2) You should paddle the boat that you like the most after trying it out.
Contact me if you have any questions.
