Something new from AT with a reasonable price tag-
http://www.atpaddle.com/WhitewaterProducts/ATEddy.html
Light, blades won't wear and a simular shaft to the AT2 Standard- without the foam core blade- The rib on the back side of the blade is a PVC core, not a Closed-cell foam, which is whats used in the top end stuff. I have been paddling a prototype for the last six months with impressive results. Note that this is a stiff shaft, and is also very strong. The blade is made up of an epoxy that is also very durable. I was in an eddy below a drop while a friend was portaging and broke a rock loose on the hillside. The rock was about 8" around and landed directly on my blade while I had it laying across my bow from about 75 feet above me and the blade was still intact...much to everyones surprise, and I am still using that paddle on class V today.
