But I know there are a lot of ex-guides with no business experience trying to run shotty roadside outfitters...losing money every year...high guide turnover, crappy customer service, dirty run down gear, etc...
If things are done right and well run...I can't imagine a better endeavor for someone who loves to be on the water...that is if the list price matches up with the books.
Not saying you'll get rich running an outfitters on the Ocoee...but I know first hand you can earn a pretty good living...and it sure as hell beats a cubicle. |
