Legs go numb, bad for your knees, hurts your body, arthritic hands sans knuckle skin, busted elbows, spend twice as much time upside down, have to convert your own boat, have to find a canoe paddle, wear skirts out quicker, be a minority.... but it is fun. Best bet is to find a dagger saddle, or just get creative. The basics are you have to have a pedestal to sit on, probably at least 4" tall, you need something to spread your knees out so they are about as wide as possible, and you need a center rail to support the hull or your boat, keep everything in place, and attach thigh straps to. This is a good resource, you'll probably find what you need there. Good luck, but honestly, probably not a good idea, especially with low water. |
