	I have paddled both the Grande and Jefe as my only creek boats for the past few of years. I have demoed other brands out there but am definitely a fan of this LL boat design. I am a little light for the Grande (175lb) but as a hand-paddler I like having that much more volume in the bow to carry me up and over hazards. The Grande is a little more difficult to turn than the Jefe and at my weight I have to get more on edge to initiate the chines. The Grande loves to get over and with its extra weight through everything! The boat has made me more confident on our SE rock boofs. At your weight I would say go for the Grande. If you can try to find a Demo before you buy. See you out there. Paul
