question Where to run 2nd Drop Lost Paddle?  4 Choices (more) New

OK, Gauley season is over, and things are dry.  So time to plan ahead.  I have been avoiding 2nd drop of Lost Paddle as I got a concussion there a few years ago.  Just when I thought it was time to return, a buddy dislocated his shoulder there a few weeks back.

So my question is, what is the best line?  I have only run the main drop - which is where I got hurt.  I have been told there are 4 lines:
1)  main line
2)  creek line to the left
3)  sneak line to the far left
4)  river right line, right of the main drop

I heard that the creek line is technical and you have to ferry right hard above 6 pack-rock, but not too bad.  The sneak line has pinning potential.  And the far right line is fine.

So place your votes.  I really want to get back to the UG - this is the only rapid that really scares me.  Otherwise, I love it.

th_up Come out of the eddy, boof the flake and keep driving right into the big eddy below.  Fun line and safest of all of them <NT> hardboater New
note Main line, river right shoulder of the crashing haystack wave, slight (1:00) right angle. tcookson New
