	In a science environment - you will need to get one that will actually do the job of recording HR data and bringing it back to a PC environment. One that will do that (not cheap) is a Suunto T6 You could do it with a T3 or T4 with a PC Pod, but don't bother - they aren't waterproof enough to get the job done. The other thing you could use is a Suunto Smart Belt - which is a recording chest strap pickup. Don't know about the other vendors. Ted
