...ask your buddy if she could go next; I'm sure he would have said yes if she'd asked in a polite, friendly manner. Rafts (no slam against the guides who ARE polite) should have no more right to the river than any other boat, I don't care HOW much money they make, and that woman set a very bad example for her customers concerning river etiquette.
