I was the buddy waiting in the eddy behind the KID. The fact that the guide was a woman only made a difference in that she knew she wouldn't get K-Oed for her actions. Also, words like "bitch" are very hard to keep to yourself when you are made a doorstop by a moron that has already paddled 20 yards past you, turned upstream, repeatedly bumped you(because as it occurred, I pushed with my hands and elbows to keep myself from being roadkill) and then plows your bud out of the tiny hole(less width than the raft), and offers no apology. Sure the word isn't nice, but give me a break people; the idea of swimming after being trapped under a "controlled" raft sucks and creates anger. THe guide sucks. She's not hard to recognize(all grey hair, light blue(faded) vest, packin' an evil eye and an attitude. BOTTOM LINE: Laurel needs to address the problem before sonmebody gets hurt. |
